Do you know what I love just as much as doing mommy + me yoga with my baby girl? Alone time. The mornings that I wake up early enough to have some time to dedicate to my own yoga practice, I feel on top of the world.
As mothers, being busy comes with the territory. We are constantly chasing after our little humans, entertaining them, playing with them, caring for them, and keeping them alive. With so much of our time being spent caring for our babies, it’s no wonder that we’re exhausted at the end of the day.
Our children are adorable and precious. But they are also exuberant, loud, energetic, and needy. They are very dependent on us, and because of that, much of our time is spent giving.
When all of our time is spent giving, we get out of balance, and start to feel stressed and overwhelmed. Life is meant to be a natural give and take; when that isn’t happening, we are out of balance.
That's why alone time is absolutely crucial for moms. Click the link in my profile to head over to the blog + learn 3 reasons why alone time is so necessary, and some simple ideas for getting more "me" time each and every day! ✌❤☺ #TLBmoves#mamabirdwellnest

I am really excited to share how I've been supporting myself as a wife and mother, and ALL the hormones and emotions that come with it using essential oils! 🤣
I am bad at keeping pregnancies (mine) a secret and my abs agree, just let it be out 😂🙄 So tonight I thought I would share what has been working for me during my first trimester.
🔅Cheer has been helping me stabilize those hormonal mood swings and giving me a little more energy as I decrease the coffee intake
🔅TerraZyme might just be my new pregnancy best friend in the bloat dept, soooo helpful there.
🔅PB Assist Jr, because it tastes amazing and gives me the recommended 5 billion active probiotics! Fruity stuff has been helping the nausea so it's a win win.
🔅Wild Orange and Lemon in everything, sniffing, in my water, in the diffuser. You name it, these gentle citrus oils help with my sensitive nose, give me energy and aid digestion.
🔅My prenatal supplements are Microplex vmZ and X EOmega, so amazing! When I forget these my energy drops drastically. These are perfect as a prenatal because they are so easily absorbed and my doctor agrees!
🔅DigestZen rolled on my stomach has been a life saver for stomach issues that pop up in the first trimester, a little goes a long way. DigestTabs too! Sooo amazing for nausea.
🔅Deep Blue Polyphenol Complex is the blend for discomfort! From those pesky pregnancy headaches to Round Ligament Pain. Two capsules a day or as needed.
🔅Protein deserves a mention too, and I am loving it from non meat sources, so a clean Rx Bar is high on my list of must haves this time around.
What are your pregnancy must haves?
Teaching myself some new video editing skills... and of course 🙃 more handstands.
@lil.lollipop.yogi @michiganmadeyogi & @yogattempts my #sdy for you beautiful friends who inspire both my Yoga and Motherhood journeys 👣
(2.5 months #postpartum ) .
If I don't take time to reconnect with nature and get those #motherearth vibes, I feel lethargic and restless - which is a strange, contradictory combination. So today going to the water was just what I needed. I have done zero #hiit workouts this week, and a lot of #yoga . My body needed/needs a rest from the high intensity stuff. 🙏🏼 Everyone is all about their training days, but your #restdays are where you really grow. 💪🏼 Remember to take it easy every now and then. #namaste (📸 by my husband 🖤)

"About 95% of my days are spent working at a desk. Long hours spent sedentary can have lasting negative effects on the body & mind. Triangle pose is perfect for increasing mental and physical balance & decreasing anxiety, stress and back pain. An excellent remedy for those long work days!"
True Life: Corporate Lyfe is Lame 🚫
Believe it or not, I use to be that worker bee that sat at a desk five days a week, managing schedules, answering emails|phone calls, picking up lunches, juggling client affairs, running (other people's) errands for eight hours a day + still managed to take my work home with me somehow...
I was living a life that most would consider "successful", but on the inside I was simply miserable + something had to give.
Fast forward to the present moment + you'll catch me spread just as thin (if not thinner), but I am the happiest I have ever been...
Honor where you are right now + enjoy every step of the climb on your "once in a lifetime" journey. Remember, we ALL start somewhere!!
Shout out to @mrs_angrisani2you for sneaking off to capture one of my very first #stopdropandyoga I now challenge you to show off your #trianglepose | #trikonasana if you wish!! ✌🏽😘🌙
