Although I've been taking photos like this to compare for myself, I've always been reluctant to publicly post photos like this, and because my body isn't perfect (although there is still lots of room for improvement and I plan to keep pushing forward, I would be perfectly satisfied if my body stays as is). Also, I've never been comfortable with photos where I'm wearing such little clothing, but since I've stopped wearing a shirt while running in parks (something I would have never really considered unless it was extremely hot even a few days ago, I completely changed my opinion on that very fast), I figure I've got nothing to hide. But here some before and after images of how I looked at 200 pounds versus 160 pounds. Not overnight, of course, but over a period of about a year and a half or more. The "before" is actually not me at my worst, as I was somewhere in the 220-230 pound range originally. I've gone from a size 34 waist (probably more of a 33 here really) to size 29, so I'm not really pushing to lose more weight, but I would like to have a more toned body. These pictures are from the same race but two years apart. 2 years ago I ran the race I ran this past weekend and this was my picture. Looking at them side by side I can't help but be so proud of how far I've come. I look and feel 10 times better than I did 2 years ago running this race plus I beat my time by 2 seconds!! 2 years ago I ran this race and I struggled so much during it because my mindset just wasn't there and I was just out of shape. I might have only beat my time by 2 seconds but so much has changed from 2 years ago and that is really what matters to me.
Besides my picture transformation today I have had two non scale victories for my day which just made me so happy. One was the new jeans o shared earlier and the other was I went to get a new sports bra as mine were all getting too big for me and guess what? I went down two sizes in my band size and yet my cup size stayed the same!! I'm officially a size I have never been and I couldn't be happier!! I've worked so hard these past 7 months and I finally see how much I've changed for the better and really feel I'm becoming the best version of myself! ❤
Went jogging twice today with Little baby🤗 for those late night 12 hr shifts you have to focus and make the most of your time off between shifts☝🏼 I got off work at 7am, went jogging with Oliver for 3.5 miles, came home made my spring rolls, fed oliver, showered, napped for 2.5 hrs, got ready, picked up the hubby from his first job, fed bae, took him to his second job, went on a second jog with Oli for 1.5 miles , fed Oli, got ready for work again and were off to work🙃 its a lot! But if I so much as get into the mentality of feeling sorry for myself or wining about all there is to be done and how tired I am you wouldn't believe how much harder it feels to get it all done ☺️ and since today I decided to have a positive attitude I felt and continue to feel great! Life is beautiful make time for yourself and your growth and don't wine so much about sleep cause your gonna get to sleep a whole lot when your dead...morbid, I know , but life is short😌💖
Everyday that I've been in court the last couple of weeks I've been falling asleep in MINUTES!
It made NO sense...I'd wake up, workout, eat & ALWAYS have my superfoods...PLUS my sleep hasn't changed..
Than DUHHHHH today it hit me...I need my goggles again 👓 Which is why I got them in the first place -- because starring at a computer screen for hours strains the SHIT out of my eyes...
