Several @worldsmartleaders students filing out forms for their first passports. They are working hard to prepare for our trip to #Uganda . We need your support to make sure they get there! https://igg.me/at/ed4N0c--cQg
These were all taken by my talented friend @meiflower5 These are the last African photos from my trip! Thanks for sticking with me while I posted so many. I have posted videos from my trip on my YouTube channel (link in bio), pictures on my second Insta @kailab_photography and I will be blogging about it soon on my new website (I'll give the link for that when everything is ready and finished). If you ever have a dream or a desire to go to Africa, Mexico, China etc. I highly encourage you to step out in faith and do it. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made to go to Africa. Though I was terrified, God gave me strength to step out of my comfort zone and go serve Him. Loving on His beautiful and precious children there was so eye opening, heart warming and a dream come true. Ever since I was 11 I have wanted to go to Africa and I never thought I would be able to do it but with God ALL things are possible. Just pray and He will make it happen. You don't have to go out of the country though. There are many needs right around you. Maybe there is always a homeless lady on your street corner or maybe you could volunteer at a Forster home or hospital. There are plenty of needs for all genders and ages to help out with. Are you going to step out in faith and do it? Praying for you dear brothers and sisters. If you have a dream to go somewhere and serve Him, I'm praying that He will make it happen. If you all have any other questions about the trip you can DM me or text me. Or if you are going on a missions trip and need prayer, advice or tips I'm always here. ❤️ I have one thing to ask though... could you all keep praying for these sweet children? Pray that the children from ABH will grow up knowing the Lord and that they will get adopted and pray for the New Hope school kids that they would not turn their face from God but that they would continue to run after Him with a whole heart. Thank you! #thankyoulord#imthankful#africa#uganda#beautifulchildren#tripofalifetime#abh2k17#voiceforthevoiceless#iwanttogobacksomeday#imissthem#prayingforthechildrenofafrica

Molly is one of our recent graduates. Molly is content, cheerful, responsible, loving and welcoming. And she is super cool. Like not in a too-cool-for-school kind of way, but in a down to earth, you would totally want to hang out with her kind of way. Molly is one incredible girl. She currently attends Aura Teacher's Nursery College and is planning to become a preschool teacher. Like so many girls in Arua, she has been relentless in her pursuit of her education against all odds. She was abandoned by her parents when she was 7 and has lived with different relatives throughout the years. From aunt to grandmother to different aunt again...on and on. The last aunt Molly lived with was committed to education for sure. She sounds like a passionate woman in a really unfair situation. Our director, JP, said, "Her aunt abandoned her because she just couldn't afford her. All the relatives gave this aunt their kids. She is a single mom. But she had to abandon them BECAUSE she loved them. She had to flee without leaving information about where she had gone because she was going to be arrested because of her debts. Her debts were from not only putting her own children through school but also so many other relatives' children through school. She even was in debt from putting one of her children through a clinical medicine program. And they wanted to arrest her." Finally, Molly had someone in her corner. And that loving aunt had to leave because of broken system and an unjust cycle of poverty. I never got to meet Molly's aunt, but I sure do admire and respect her intentions.
For Molly's final push through secondary school, she was taken in by Emma, a single mother of two, who is the groundskeeper at a local primary school. Emma graciously opened her home to Molly, and the exciting thing now is that Emma's home is a home away from college for Molly. Because Molly is in COLLEGE!!! How awesome is that??? #keepgirlsinschool#doforonewhatyouwoulddoformany#onelifeatatime#HopeEducationUganda#dogood#empowerment#taprootcharities#Uganda#choosehope#bethechange#giveback

We are excited to highlight our partners for the Murph kickoff of our #H2ONORCAMPAIGN at Heroes CrossFit on Saturday. They have been incredibly generous with their time, talents, and money. We know that there is no way that we could ever pay them back, so if you see them out, buy them a round or two...on us!
@bigtexneil owner of @express_oil_change in Cedar Park was one of the first sponsors to offer their help when we began discussing the charity event. To benefit the H2ONOR CAMPAIGN, we will be announcing some awesome car related service deals in partnership with Neil and Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers. .
On another note, if you want your ass kicked in a workout, find out when Neil is going and challenge him. I bet he KILLS the Invader Coffee strength challenge. .
So come out early and enjoy some coffee and fellowship before sweating out some hate during Murph. Let's honor our fallen heroes and raise some money to save some lives through clean water wells. .
