Folks actually listen to us, as artists there is a real platform. I only pray to stay as real as I feel today. You can view the full documentary on @slaytv's facebook page AND at my BIRTHDAY PAWTY. It'll be playing on loop at the beginning of my 23rd Ascension @staywokeharlem JULY 28th 8pm
Been pretty quiet in my neck of the woods lately (summer is always super dead for me) but don't worry I'm still over here fakin' it til I make it 🙃
I know I post about this all the damn time but seriously, I can write music all day everyday, no problem, but when it comes to THIS crap, I get so discouraged I just want to throw the towel in and quit. Maybe one day I'll have a dedicated mix engineer to do this shit for me (ha...right) but until then it'll be watching YouTube tutorials and screaming at Pro Tools until I pass out.
