Ghost city in the Nullarbor
photo flashback from a trip across Australia on the Indian Pacific. Cook has a row of empty fibro houses, a tiny locked up school, an empty unground swimming pool and a shuttered general store and hospital. A fascinating and eerie place to visit, I couldn't imagine growing up in such a tiny town surrounded by desert with extreme heat and no rain every single day
My life is a cycle of: have a crazy idea, freak myself and everyone else out with said crazy idea, do crazy idea anyway, and have another experience of a lifetime. Driving 4000kms across Australia's outback may sound absolutely crackers when it's cheaper and 96 times quicker to fly (accurate calculation, I just worked it out) but I've just had an absolutely unique, incredibly bizarre and completely unforgettable two days driving across the Nullarbor.
And it's not over yet - tomorrow we hit Esperance and the Southern coast of Western Australia! I've heard great things about this area of the country and I can't wait to see it for myself 😊❤ What crazy adventures are you planning?
