It was snowing heavy the day we finally reached Everest Base Camp.
Just as we were about to leave with splitting headaches, the sun came out for a quick 10 minutes offering us these beautiful views of the Khumbu Icefall in the middle of the mountains.
Now back in Lukla, I get instantly jealous looking at the fresh faces going to experience what we just had for the first time.
We have decided to walk further down the valley to Salleri, catching a Jeep to Kathmandu as we can't afford to fly out. This will extend our trip a further four days instead of a 20 minute flight. Backpacker life! 😬
What have you done to save money while travelling?
Grateful for one more chance to earn my turns. Hitting the road for the People's Climate March this Saturday. I'll be marching in Washington DC to #protectourwinters and #makeanericadeepagain . Where will you be marching?
I am letting go of judgement, negativity and anything getting in the way of a clear mind.
I am learning to accept others as I grow to accept myself. ✨
We all have our own insecurities.
What matters is how we deal with them. How we choose to show up. How we choose to act - with love and kindness.
My favorite part of this day was watching one of these little guys stand on a big rock next to @kylekotajarvi, looking up at him while he was taking photos 😭 so precious, just a couple of buds hanging out 💕
