"How much longer to the Hotel now??", dad asked, getting increasingly agitated and impatient. He was already irritated that we weren't staying near the town Centre in Munnar, closer to the 'market'. We were definitely now in a remote territory as the mobile network had vanished and so too had the people on the road. The endless tea plantations however, became prettier with every passing bend of the road and told dad to just enjoy the journey.. Atleast half an hour had now passed and just before dad could ask once again, we saw the sign. Talayar tea estate. A couple of kilometers further inside and up the tea estate and we entered the gates of the aptly named Tea Bungalows. Where we were greeted by this view. And a priceless expression on dad's face as he, happy as a child, turned around, said a simple sorry and thank you. The ride had had been worth it. And the stay was even better.. #kerala#munnar#keralatourism#tea#teagardens#travel#travelgram#throwback#indiapictures#talayar#talayarteabungalows#incredibleindia#boutiqueresort#journey
