There were no beaches in Itbayat. It was all cliffs, until a natural erosion at Kaxobcan created this small beach at the eastern side of the island. The water looks inviting but locals prohibit people from going there as the soil may still erode. But boats can be hired to swim nearby.

Sometimes, a guide can make or break a trip. Tour guides are part of the experience, their added knowledge and trivia can give deeper appreciation of a place. Here, my guide in #itbayat Jojo stands at one of the limestone outcrop at the #rapangcliffs . He did an excellent job and knows photographer quirks well. He wouldn't give you a puzzled look if you want to shoot in the dark early morning, suggest some good angles for photos and most of the time poses better than me too. Hit him up if you plan on visiting Itbayat #batanes soon. More from my recent post at #ironwulfenroute (link from the bio)
