What a nice photo. I could say something along the lines of "best way to start the day" but instead I'm going to be honest. This was the opposite of everything I wanted to do when my alarm rang at 5 am. It was 34° and my bed had to have been the most comfortable it has ever been. But I got up begrudgingly. Drove to the mountain angrily, then saw it was covered in snow and ice and continued to feel sorry for myself. And to top it off, I threw an adult size temper tantrum when I couldn't run more than 5 minutes without accumulating a mud pack so heavy on the bottom of my shoes that it felt like I was running in high heeled cinder blocks. But then I survived. And I got my 8 mile run in before 8 am. I saw the sunrise. I broke a sweat. And because it felt so much harder today, the run was made that much sweeter. Thank you @cwharrington for encouraging me, even on days like these. @territoryrunco#fightfortherun#runnersofthewild#fighttheresistance#bighorntrailrun
Flower on flower, Green on Green, Boulder on boulder, mile on mile, fox on... oh saw just one fox. Then I found these gorgeous pine cone buds? Spring is here and I feel like I can finally stretch my legs and breeeaaathe!
Only a few more days before I start posting pictures like crazy from another part of the world - South America! First on the line-up is Bariloche (the gateway to Patagonia), then the cities of Buenos Aires and Santiago. And yes, I'm more excited about Patagonia than anything else.
