As many of you will know, I have a love/hate relationship with Par 3's that involve any sort of water as 9/10 times my ball will sink to the bottom of the lake to be collected one day for a new batch of lake balls
On this occasion however, I got "lucky"...and by lucky I mean that I thinned my 8 iron over the water and landed in the bunker to the right side of the green as you look at it here
Up and down for par I hear you ask? Nope! I was too clever for my own good. Big slope from back to front so I aimed for the back edge of the green to let it feed down the slope to the hole
⛳️ Needless to say it didn't have the legs which left me a lovely downhill putt to save par. It did not go in! Bogey for me on this occasion. Still...better than losing another ball to the water hazards!
