Stones, the frozen lake and the mountains bordering Norway and Sweden. Stones and rocks are fascinating. They tell the geological story of the places where we live, hike, ski or rest. A small sized stone is related to its bigger cousins - it's only that some ice age smashed the families apart.
I must apologise for making amateur pictures only (have to develop some skills here). Hopefully performing better at the written storytelling part - on the website that is. Anyhow, judge for yourself.
Miikka Nevalainen on the other hand captures such stones in an awesome way. Based in Finland, he combines the elements in one single image. Wished I could do the same! @miikkanevalainen#treelinetales#1pack2go#ig_norway#ig_sweden#elgå#utinaturen#friluftsliv#reflections_pix#stonesetting#swedishmoments
Almost there 🏁 Second to last day at lunch time we just had to take a break at Kebnekaise fjällstation 🍺😁 After todays travel there was only a short 6 km trek left for the last day. #stfkebnekaise#expedition#almostthere
Kjøre stil med bukseløs søndag, longs med gylf og strategisk plassert hull på brallorna. Skal få reparert det en gang jeg ikke er på tur (dvs aldri). /
Doing my no-pants Sunday in style, I'll get the hole in my long johns fixed some time when I'm not out hiking (in other words: never).
