Think about it, when a light shines, it always overcomes the darkness that's near it. In the same way, we should shine the light of our faith to those around us. Sure, it might not make you the most popular person, but that's so temporary in comparison to eternity. There are likely some people in your life who are not currently on the path to heaven, and we are called to help guide them! If you love your life as a faithful Catholic and a good person, you will go to Heaven. That's the gift that God has granted to us, and it's a gift that we are called to share with those in our life. So please go out and spread Christ's love to those in your life. God bless!
When I look at society, I pray that my daughters do not get wrapped up into the sins of this world. Instead, I have several prayers that I pray about my future daughters, and though they aren't here yet, they will be one day, so I pray for their future! The way my future husband and I can raise godly daughters, including godly sons, is by serving the Lord in our household, for when you raise children up in the truth, there is a greater chance of them accepting Christ than accepting the world, for they were surrounded by the truth instead of society's way of thinking. Romans 8:12. Every one of us was born with a sinful nature and a desire to satisfy ourselves with ungodly pleasures. One of our most common excuses for giving into temptation by sinning is that we could not help ourselves, and we do not have any other choice but to sin. We justify our sins by blaming the Devil and our sinful nature for forcing us to sin. When we believe that we have no choice in sinning or no control over our sinful nature, we shift the responsibility and accountability for our actions away from us and onto others. The truth is that we have no obligation to give into temptation or our sinful nature. Sinning is a choice not a requirement. We do not have to sin because God gives us another choice. When we dedicate ourselves to fully focusing on God and having all of our thoughts on Him, He helps us control our sinful nature and live a pure, godly life. When we reject sin and accept God, we are able to conquer the urges of our sinful nature. We are never powerless against sinful urges because God gives us a way out through trusting and focusing on Him.

I love the whole Word of God! But I have to say that Psalm 31:24(the whole book of Psalms period, lol!) has given me so much more will power and spiritual strength to live for Him. Also, this verse has uplifted my spirit when I've felt discouraged or hopeless. Be of good courage everyone!💪
Tell Him what your heart longs for. Don't hold anything back. Ask Him what you need with confidence and don't be discourage if he is quiet at first. Sometimes Jesus meets us in the longing to build intimacy with Him before it's fulfilled.
I'm too excited about my next study to wait any longer. It's titled LOVE THE WORD, and it's about how to love learning scripture and letting it guide your prayer life. ALSO, guess what it doubles as: A HAND-LETTERING practice journal!
The study begins September 4th, but order by August 20th in order to receive it by September 1st.
