Title: Pekan Baru - Palembang
We took a bus from #PekanBaru to #Palembang . Another 24 hours journey. By this time we were already got used to it haha Plus in every journey that we took, we were well treated by everyone. We were given 3 seats for just 2 of us bcs the leg room was so small I could barely sit down (disadvantage of being a bit taller than average Asians). As we were approaching Palembang, we were told that the bus couldn't enter the city so they would hv to drop us off on the outskirts & we would have to take another public transport into the city. The driver recommended that we take an 'Angkut' (we had no idea what that was). When we got off the bus, we tried asking a few locals on how do we get to the city. They said the only way was by #Ojek (indonesian term for Motorcycle taxis). Took me a while to realise they were Ojek drivers & they were trying to fool us. They began to annoy me (they were swearing to God that they were telling the truth) so I told my dad to follow me to the supermarket nearby so I can ask the staff there. So I went on first & asked & true enough those dudes were lying. The kind staff gave me the right direction & I told my dad just follow me. So I went on (some of the dudes were following us but I blatantly told them that they are Penipu!) & found the city bus. My dad were a bit far behind because he is by nature has a kind heart bcs he entertained those liars by explaining to them there is actually a city bus & they had made a mistake. God bless my dad! So you could see in the video he was running bcs I shouted "Cepatan, the bus is about to leave." The city bus was old as hell. Every time the driver change the gear, the gear stick will, on its own, move back to neutral so he had to put the gear back in place and the sounds that the bus made throughout the journey was hellish hahaha When we arrived in the city, we started to look for a hotel near to Masjid Agung Palembang.
