Jeju is home to insanely clear water and, luckily, dozens of beachy alcoves to explore come summertime.
In the northwest corner, Gwakji Beach is a lesser frequented plot for a quiet day out. Down south, Jungmun Beach is a stretch of black sand, shared by a few high-end hotels, including @theshilla_official.
Highly recommend renting a car to explore... the island is roughly an hour's drive from north to south, and two hours east to west. A lot of ground to cover!
1. Step into the water for 15 minutes, float, read a newspaper.
2. Step out and apply the dark mud all over. Let it harden in the sun.
3. Step back into water and wash it all off.
4. Step out a new person.
