#salted#eggs : we have chickens. Chickens give us eggs. I brought back #Sichuanpeppers from #chongqing . I was drinking some #whitewine from #france . I just developed this simple recipe for salted eggs: 1. Rinse eggs. 2. Soak in white wine. 3. Boil water with salt and wine. 4. Infuse with star anise and Sichuan peppercorn. 5. Let the water boil then wait for it to drop to room temperature. 6. Pore the liquid over eggs in jar. 7. Seal and store in fridge for 5 days. 8. When ready to eat, boil them like you would normally do. 9. Enjoy whichever way you like in traditional Chinese cuisine. I like to eat it with rice porridge, like I just did while in Chongqing, China.
